Our Toronto office celebrates the festival with many illuminating names
For more than 3,000 years, millions of people have followed the custom of worshipping the moon, a recognized symbol of harmony and unity, with particular reverence paid on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Lunar calendar
This ancient tradition of dispelling darkness and introducing light has many names, including the Moon Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the Eight-Month Festival. For our Toronto office, the name mattered less than the opportunity to come together to decorate lanterns, enjoy themed cookies and share the warmth of each other’s company.
To the 18 First National teams that joined in, we thank you for shining a light within to celebrate this special occasion.
