Sanja joined the First National team in May 2022, bringing 15 years of experience in the commercial mortgage sector. She brings deep expertise in commercial mortgage underwriting, credit adjudication, and asset-level analysis. Sanja joined the Credit team after leading the Renewals & Assumptions function where she managed maturity risk, oversaw portfolio management operations, and guided a team of analysts through a high-volume environment. Sanja is recognized for her analytical rigor, collaborative approach, and commitment to maintaining high credit standards. She plays an integral role in supporting the company’s risk management framework and contributing to prudent sustainable portfolio growth.
When she’s not supporting the Credit team, Sanja enjoys long-distance running and Muay Thai - pursuits that align with her commitment to discipline, growth, and continuous challenge.
