First National’s Board has approved several policies that reflect a proactive approach to governance— a Code of Business Ethics Conduct, a Whistleblower Policy and a Disclosure Policy an Insider Trading Policy— and all of our policies are compliant with the corporate governance guidelines of the Canadian Securities Administrators.
First National’s Board continues to update, develop and implement appropriate governance policies and practices as it sees fit. The board has established an Audit Committee and a Compensation, Governance and Nominating Committee to ensure First National’s corporate governance is overseen by independent directors.
