Better people make better lending

We lend billions of dollars to commercial real estate projects every year. But it’s not just capital that distinguishes us. It’s the empowered nature of our workforce. Our advisors are experienced experts whose sole focus is to deliver financing strategies that enable you to achieve greater success.

Our Better Lending culture – three decades in the making – is built on the skill that comes from pure mortgage lending.  Because we start from a position of knowledge about you, your project, and your market, we can design solutions that are fit for your purpose. And because accountability is in our nature, we meet our commitments.

Better by design, better by nature, better for you in every corner of the country.

Meticulous. Accountable. Inquisitive.

“I add value by thoughtfully evaluating every deal and sharing insights that help move financing forward with clarity.”

Kevin joined the First National team in October 2025 as an Analyst in Commercial Financing, bringing a strong foundation in real estate development and financial analysis. His meticulous approach ensures every deal is assessed with precision, while his inquisitive nature drives him to uncover opportunities others might overlook. Kevin’s accountability and commitment to clarity make him a trusted resource for borrowers and colleagues alike.

Before joining First National, Kevin worked as a Development Coordinator at a Vancouver-based development company, where he supported projects through design, approvals, and construction phases by coordinating consultants, preparing applications and reports, and tracking budgets. He also gained valuable experience as an intern at CBRE, assisting brokerage and research teams with financial and property analysis, market research, and client-facing presentations.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, and traveling—always seeking new experiences and perspectives.
