My Mortgage^® also offers a Scenario Builder, which helps you estimate how prepayments can affect your interest costs and amortization.

Yes. Simply submit a request through your My Mortgage^® account. There is no fee to make the change, but an interest adjustment may apply. If you need help, reach out to a customer service specialist who can guide you through the process.

Yes. Log into My Mortgage^® and request a Conversion Agreement. There is no fee involved. Please note that rates on a Conversion Agreement are non-negotiable. 

Yes. The first step is to determine whether you are responsible for any outstanding tax payments to your municipality. You can check the Realty Tax Form included in your mortgage documents. If you do not have a tax account but would like First National to collect and pay your property taxes on your behalf, you can request to set up a tax account through your My Mortgage^® account – just send us your most recent property tax bill. There is no charge for this service.

You can apply for Credit Security Plan™, an optional Creditor’s group life and disability insurance, underwritten by The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company (Manulife) after your mortgage funds. You can find more information here.
